Requirements and test methods for gloves used for manual welding of metals, for cutting and related techniques. Welder gloves are ranked in two types: B when great dexterity is required (e.g.: TIG welding), and A for other welding processes.
Ova norma osigurava zahtjeve za zaštitne rukavice koje se nose u okolišu koje proizvodi ionizirajuće zračenje ili u okolišu koji sadrži radioaktivne supstance.

Class A: Anchorage connector, automatic lock used as the component and designed to be connected directly to a specific type of anchorage.
Class B: Primary connector with automatic lock used as the component.
Class M: Multi-purpose connector, primary or quick opening, used as a component, which can be loaded along its major axis or minor axis.
Class Q: Quick opening connector used in long-term or permanent applications, screw lock. When completely screwed this part is a supporting part of the
connector.
Class T: Manufactured end connector, automatic lock, designed as part of a subsystem for attachment so that the load is carried in a predetermined direction.

Type A - NON PPE : Anchor device with one or more stationary anchor points with the need of a structural anchor.
Type B: Anchor device with one or more stationary anchor points without the need of a structural anchor.
Type C - NON PPE : Anchor device employing a flexible anchor line with maximum deviation of 15°.
Type D - NON PPE : Anchor device employing a rigid anchor line with maximum deviation of 15°.
Type E: Anchor device for use on surfaces with a maximum slope of 5°.
Equipment consisting of a mobile fall arrester with self-locking, integral with its rigid anchorage line (rail, cable…). An energy reducer can be built-in on the equipment.

Norma EN ISO 374-1 specificira zahtjeve performansi koji su potrebni za rukavice za zaštitu od opasnih kemikalija.
• Prodiranje (testirano prema normi EN374-2) : Difuzija zraka i vode kako bi se provjerila nepropusnost preko poroznog materijala, šavova, mikro otvora i drugih nesavršenosti materijala zaštitnih rukavica.
• Degradacija (testirano prema normi EN374-4) Određivanje fizičke otpornosti materijala nakon kontinuiranog kontakta s opasnim kemikalijama.
• Prožimanje (testirano prema normi EN16523) : Proces putem kojeg se neki kemijski proizvod širi preko materijala zaštitne rukavice kontinuiranim kontaktom.
Verzija EN ISO norme EN374-1 predstavlja koncept 3 tipa zaštite od prožimanja kemijskim proizvodima:
- tip A: rukavice dobivaju indeks performansi na prožimanje barem jednak dvojci (2) za 6 testnih kemijskih proizvoda sa liste niže određenih u normi.
- tip B : rukavice dobivaju indeks performansi na prožimanje barem jednak dvojci (2) za 3 testna kemijska proizvoda sa liste niže određenih u normi.
- tip C : rukavice dobivaju indeks performansi na prožimanje barem jednak jedinici (1) za 1 testni kemijski proizvod sa liste niže određenih u normi.

Referentna norma, ne može se koristiti sama već zajedno s ostalim normama koje sadrže zahtjeve vezane za zaštitne performanse.
• Ispunjavanje zahtjeva o neškodljivosti (pH, vrijednost kroma VI, itd, …).
• Ispunjavanje zahtjeva vezano za veličine (vidi tablicu).
• Procijeniti spretnost, mogućnost disanja i udobnost.
• Ispunjavanje zahtjeva o označavanju, informacijama i identifikaciji proizvoda.
